In the 1920's, Ford sponsored many newspapers and newspaper articles based around antisemitism. Antisemitism is a prejudiced dislike or hatred for Jewish people. Yeah, after hearing all these great things about Ford, you learn he hates Jews. Reality hits like a freight train, doesn't it? Well as true as it is, at the same time, at the same time, Ford was also know for being one of the few corporations actively hiring black workers and wasn't accused of discrimination against Jewish workers.
It is noted in the 2010 documentary, "Jews and Baseball: An American Love Story" that Ford is noted as saying, "If fans wish to know the trouble with American baseball, they have it in three words- too much Jew." In Germany, these articles were actually published in four volumes, cumulatively titled, "The International Jew: The World's Foremost Problem".

Ford had already opened up construction plants in Britain and Canada, and quickly was recognized as the largest producer in those areas. One of his plants was even the world's largest industrial complex. Shortly after that, he worked with Giovanni Agnelli to open up Italy's first assembly plants. In the 1920's, (around the time of most of the Antisemitism stuff happened) Ford opened up plants in Germany as well! During that decade, he also opened plants in Australia, India, France, and more! By 1929, he had plants in 6 of the 7 continents on Earth!
By 1932, Ford was manufacturing over one third of the world's automobiles. Ford's "image" was well known all throughout the world (especially Europe) as the essence of Americanism. Strange, how just before World War II, the Germans almost looked up to Americans with a certain hopefulness for the future.
