Henry Ford is credited with "Fordism": Fordism is a massive production of things that don't cost much coupled with high wages for the people he hires. Ford had a great idea for the world; "consumerism being a key to peace". He was committed to lowering the cost of automobiles, and in the end, there were many technical and business innovations and inventions, including a company that wound up putting dealerships throughout North America and in cities on six continents. Henry left a lot of his wealth to the Ford Foundation but made it so that his family would control the company permanently.
